Mu in Solid Xenon:
Relaxation & Hop Rate vs. Temperature
In the figure below, different points represent the
muonium (Mu) relaxation rate measured in different
magnetic fields. The diamonds denote transverse-field (TF)
Mu relaxation in spinless 136Xe and the others
denote longitudinal-field (LF) Mu relaxation in fields
ranging from ~100G to several kG.
In the figure above, the Mu hop rate extracted from the
relaxation data is shown as a function of temperature.
